Exercise
Left, Right, Repeat
This exercise is really easy. It’s called: Left, Right, Repeat . I’d like to say I came up with this exercise, but I didn’t I’m actually taking this – I was reading a book about ordinary people training for
the Iron Man Arizona. If you don’t know that is – it’s a 2.4 – mile swim, a 112 – mile bike ride, and then a 26.2 – m ile full marathon. To say the least it takes a lot to be able to achieve that, but once you do you can call yourself an Iron Man. One of the people in this book said, “Left, right repeat” and kept saying that to themselves. I really liked that so I’m go ing to use that for us.
Left right repeat. Left foot, right foot, repeat. That’s how we achieve any goal that we set out to get. Any marathon starts with one step forward. Now, that may seem a simple enough statement , but I can tell you that it’s true. I have many big goals, and I know that as long as I’m moving forward: left, right, repeat I know that I’ll be successful.
Pick something, and then start to build your way to being able to achieve that. Left, right, repeat. When it gets hard, and it may, just say to yourself, left right, repeat. That’s all there is to it. It’s not difficult, you simply have to keep moving forward. Have a great day
